TAJ MAHAL Taj Mahal was build by shah jahan in

memory of his third wife , mumtaz mahal. Built with transluent white marbel and

other precious stones. In all, twenty eight types of precious and semi-precious stones were inlaid into the white marble.

It took 22 years to complete the construction of such a beautiful monument.

The total cost has been estimated to be about 459,489 euro’s at that time .

It is believed that after completion of the monument the hands of all those involved in building the magnicificant monument. were cut off so that they do not make the same design , yet there are no documents to proof this however.
