• These insights and trends have been collected from more than 60,000 analytics professionals from India
• These professionals came in touch with Analytics Vidhya through various initiatives like jobs portal,
hackathons, hiring competitions, meetups and several other initiatives
• People with only advanced analytics / data science skills were considered as part of the study e.g. a
person with complete experience in MIS was not considered as part of the study
• The findings are open to biases arising because of the nature of jobs / competitions hosted on Analytics
Vidhya’s website. However, we believe the insights would help thousands of people take right career
decisions.
