Date of release –The date of release is when this magazine was realised for example this magazine was put out in 1/11/08.

Contents Images –The Contents images are image about the main story, which will be inside the magazine for example in this magazine they have only one image which is showing the main story about the BBC proms and the bands the bands that were playing for example “Last shadow puppets”.

Index – In the index you can see it tells you all about what is inside the magazine. In this magazine they make the text bold to identify the main parts of the story which they have written about for example the new bands that have come out.

Band Index – The band index is the band’s that are mentioned in this magazine and what page they are on for example “Guns N’Roses” is on page 7 and 39. By having this it makes the it is easier for the reader to find the band or bands they want to read about.

Advert – The Company who owns the magazine wants you to buy the next issue so they can make money. In this issue they are advertising the next issue of the magazine which will be coming and how you can pay to get the next issue delivered at your door for just £5.57 pound a month and how to do it.

Context text – A big story is place on the context page so that it will catch the eye of the reader and so that the reader will want to read more about it, later on in the magazine. Also the company put a big story on page so that it will take up more space on the index page.
