FEEL…

Waste water flows from the public water tank near our school.

The stagnated water emits foul smell and also spreds diseases like Dengu, Chickungunea, etc.,

It also pollutes the land.

3

Imagine…

Discussed with our classmates and

found some solutions to clear the

stagnated water.4

Imagine…

Make a pit filled with stones and sand to

draw the water near the tank.

Drain the waste water into the nearby

water canal.5

Imagine…

Change the place of the stagnation oncein a while.

Get permission from the grove’s owner ,which is near the tank to irrigate the treesby the stagnated water.

6

DO… Our village is near the river Cauvery. So our first idea is not suitable.

Draining the waste water into the canal will pollute the canal water.

Change the stagnation frequently will pollute more land.

So we chose the fourth one.

7

We met the grove’s owneralong with ourHeadmaster, Teachersand our Village EducationCommittee President. 8

We got his

Permission to

irrigate the grove by

the stagnated water.9

With the help ofour friends weform bed aroundthe coconut trees.

10

11

We made small

channels to the

trees from the

water tank.12

13

Now no water stagnate in that

place…. 14

Share…
