You must have probably heard it many times before that our brain can be strengthened by many

activities and our strengthened brain will improve our ability to acquire knowledge or simply

improve cognition. It is true and listed here are some simple tricks to make our brain work better.

1. Brain Use

Over 30-40 percent of students do not read any other book except their course books. Reading is a

great activity that keeps the neurons in our brain sharp and firing. If you are not in the habit of

reading start with one book a month and gradually see the difference with improved cognition,

memory and alertness.

Choose books that appeal to you be it fiction, non-fiction or history. Like physical exercise benefits

your body same ways reading is a mental exercise for your brain.

2. Be Dexterous

Crossword puzzles, board games, memory enhancing games and other mind twister activities are a

good idea to keep your brain active and sharp.

Get your children enrolled for child tutoring services that offer both work and fun as it helps in

developing logical reasoning and learning.

3. Good Night’s Sleep

If you do not get enough sleep your cognitive function will get impaired. Not getting a good night’s

sleep will make you feel lethargic all day and you will not be able to concentrate well.

4. Live Right

Eating healthy food and a little physical exercise will lead to a healthy lifestyle that in turn will lead

to an active and sharp brain.
