Front Cover Ideas

Many of the photos here are black and white, as much as this could be effective I would possibly recreate these in colour and maybe add some form of gels onto the image as well to make it more colourful. The mid shots generally adhere to the codes and conventions of a magazine which is why I want to recreate or adapt some of these images for my front cover.

Contents Page Ideas

These images vary between close up and long shots, its important to have a range of images on my contents page, it is possible I will even add a gig shot. I have added images of women onto this as I want to include both genders in my magazine but on my front cover I have opted for a man. These images could also be taken at a high or low angle to make my magazine images even more diverse and unique.

Article Ideas

These image show a diversity of poses and costumes, they show a range of close ups and long shots. These would be included in my article if I were to recreate them, the use of a long shot/full body shot allows me to curve my text around the shape of their body to give a unique look. The images I have chosen for inspiration include men and women as I may do two different feature articles to show my capability to make a music magazine.
