The noir character will be pointing a gun at the sun. There will also be a graphic match shot into the flame of a candle and then a panning shot of candle melting.

Opening shot of man on bed (singing about this made up character of himself – a cool detective with waistcoat) which then has a fade in shot of this character (imitation of himself) – thinking if this girl was with him, she would’ve been in a happy and loving relationship. This character will also be in the watch shot. This will also show the singer playing the guitar.

Character unrevealed and lighting used to make him a silhouette throughout the song/or shots of his back not showing his face – these scenes can be like film noir (black and white.) It is revealed that he is a detective (police badge.) shots of this character trying to find this girl (showing a picture of this girl.) at the end he steps into the light and it’s revealed he is the character (his imagination.) he saves the girl from a man (maybe) and sweeps her off her feet and gets the girl.
