About IELTS Speaking Module
The IELTS Training Speaking test is one of the four modules of IELTS test.
In the speaking section everything happens
quickly and your first response needs to be
your best effort.
Speaking test will be same for both
Academic & General IELTS.
Within the specified time ( 11-14 min) you have
to convince the examiner.
Sections of Speaking Test
There are three parts to the speaking section :
Part 1: Interview
Part 2: Long Answer
Part 3: Discussion

Part 1 – Interview Section
This section lasts for 4-5 minutes and it starts with an Introduction in which basic questions will be asked about yourself. Like as follows :
Your Introduction
Your Personality
Your Living Style
Your Hometown & Concerned topics
Do you enjoy learning English
Etc...
Use this section to start to relax and get comfortable.

Part 2 – Long Answer
This section lasts for 1-2 minutes and this section is little-bit difficult for most of the students.
It is not possible to predict what topics may be
discussed at this point in the interview.
you will be given a topic about which you must
speak uninterrupted for 1-2 minutes.
You will have one minute of prep time.
On this occasion a monologue is what is required.
You need to talk about the topic as fluently
and coherently as possible.
Part 3 - Discussion
This section lasts for 3-4 minutes, you have to discuss a topic with the examiner.
The interviewer will enlarge on things which were discussed in the second part of the test.
Give in-depth answers to questions about the topic.
Use the language of description, comparison and speculation. Explain and justify your opinions, assumptions, predictions, reasons etc.
Grading System
The criteria for the scoring system depends upon various factors. There are four sections that all carry equal weight in grading.
Fluency and consistency
Verbal Communication
Grammatical knowledge
Pronunciation
Relevance
