DESCRIPTION
ICDesignStudio is about “Improving” lives and “Changing” futures. The program will help students develop their creative talents into a tool for succeeding in whatever they decide to be or do. In addition, they will be exposed to the world in which they live by being an integral part of changing and improving that world. The program will consist of 9 months of study with volunteer marketing, public relations, and graphic design professionals lead by P.K. McCary, founder of P K and Company, a marketing, public relations and design firm. This pilot program is limited to 9 students who will be chosen through an application and interview process. P. K. McCary developed the curriculum and each professional is vetted and well-versed in their particular skill.

A LEARNING PROGRAM FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
A Pilot Program Designed By
P K and Company provides this marketing, public relations and graphic design curriculum and will collaborate with community organizations and businesses that will serve as the laboratory/classroom that students will work in. Program is open to young people between the ages of 16 and 19*. Parental agreement is mandatory. Students must apply and be interviewed to be accepted into the program. At the end of the program, an exhibition of the students’ work and a series of discussions on how the program can benefit youth and their community will take place at Project Row Houses and other places to be announced.
