• Due Week 11 with 4,000 words with 30 references• Tell an interesting story• Make sure you evaluate and analyse:

• Describe and explain the facts quickly (overview)• Discuss two or more sides of the story• Explain advantages and disadvantages• Talk about the level of importance of planning or

management strategies and challenges• Appropriate tables and diagrams you create yourself

• Be very concise• Mention only relevant issues• Focus primarily on the international aspects

• Don’t go on to long about domestic history• Mention products in international context

• Recent means last 3-5 years• If your sources are dated 2007 or earlier, consider

changing them• Org charts or maps may be useful here but try to

add your own analysis or opinions to them

• Issues may be something like:• Dealing with rapid global growth and change• Creating a global organisational culture• Deciding whether to localise or standardise• Making FDI decisions: where to locate production• Making market entry decisions: where/how to sell to• Implementing global systems or new technologies
