A good monograph must have:1.Title2.Abstract 3.Introduction4.Methodology section5.Literature Review6.Results section7.Discussion section8.Conclusion
2. Abstract
•What is it?“it concisely describes the content … identifies the project’s objective, its methodology and its findings, conclusions, or intended results.”• It must stand alone•No more than 500 words
3. Introduction
•Background information and context• Talk about general focus of the paper• The statement of the problem (thesis statement)• Try to attract the attention of the reader• Tell why did you choose this topic
4. Methodology• “deals specifically with the manner in which
data is collected, analyzed and interpreted”•Qualitative Vs. Quantitative research methods? •Other methods:Explorative/ Formulative, Descriptive Vs. Analytical Diagnostic, Applied Vs. Fundamental, Conceptual Vs. Empirical, Diagnostic research, Historical, etc.
5. Literature Review•What is it?“overview of the primary or major published literaryWorks.”
• How you can do it?1/ Cite the major previous studies on the topic2/ find a gap3/ try to fill that gap
6. Results section
