Step 1Push the side lock button on the side of the Estik, and slide the protective cover back to expose the thermocouple.

Step 2Press and release the ON/RESET button once to activate the Estik. Hold for 5 seconds to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit readings.

Step 3Gently press the thermocouple flat onto the surface. Within 10 seconds, the surface temperature will read on the three-digit LCD display.
