Teaching children English grammar can be a daunting task for two main reasons.

Types of activities:1) Expose your students to the proper use of

English grammar. 2) Teach grammar rules systematically.3) Provide hands-on experience to help

children master grammar rules.4) Give students opportunities to edit others'

work.

How to Teach English Grammar to Adults

Grammar is an important subject for any student. Adults who do not know grammar, or who need a refresher, have different learning styles than children.

Types of activity:

1)Use a textbook that has several different elements of grammar, including written and spoken grammar.

2)Choose a topic for each class meeting.

3)Have conversations each time your class meets.

4)Create both oral and written lessons, quizzes and exams.

Through preparation and repetition, you successfully can teach an adult English grammar.

Other types of activity:1)Assess your student's current skills

in order to understand areas that need improvement.

2) Prepare appropriate lessons that are organized logically and address your student's personal goals and weak areas.

3) Challenge your students.
