How to search for journal articles in PubMed Central

• Go to library web page: http://www.lib.uct.ac.za• Mouse over ‘Search & Find’ click on ‘Databases (A-Z)’

• From the A-Z list click on ‘P’

• Scroll down & click on ‘PubMed Central’

• Click on ‘Advanced’

• Build your search by filling in search terms in the BUILDER section.• As you add search terms, they will automatically be added to the ‘PMC Advanced Search Builder’ search box.• Click SEARCH

• Click on ‘PDF’ to read the full text
