• The relationship between CD cover with the music video is very clear as the message of the main artist having money but despite having money he still feels trapped which is why his life is dull which is why the cd cover is black and white.

• Also the CD cover is conventional of other CD cover which shows the black males wealth and superiority but he has to do illegal activities to get his money so he can survive.

• I also from the CD back cover you can see that the main artist is linked to the streets through the bandana which shows his gang affiliation and through his street life he can afford his luxury items.

• The colours which are used are very bold and however there isn't a lot of colour which shows there is a dark side to the street life and how street life isn't a glamours life style, as that life style isn't a ideal life style choice of both the CD cover and poster.

• Placing the artist beside a car shows his wealth and how he can afford those luxury items, also his chain shows that wealth, however the artist is looking away showing that he is looking around for someone showing he has to stay on guard in his life stlye as he can be attacked by thieves or even police.

• Overall the preliminary task appeals to my audience as it has black woolly hat street clothing jewellery like his chains “bling bling” and cars which are conventional to these genres. Also these gives a role model of people in the artist situation to aspire to be like. So this ancillary text has help to appeal further to my target audience.
