Research and planning During both research and planning I used the internet for most of my research, sites such as Google helped me to find information on the conventions and YouTube contained videos which helped me analyse the conventions.
As well as this I used media posters and books around the classroom to focus on the key concepts of the media construction towards the production of the video and other materials such as digipak and magazine advert.
What each programme was used for
Google – For research, planning and to create the blog.Blogger – To update the blog regularly and use the system.Photoshop – To create the digi-pak and magazine adverts as well as other materials.PowerPoint and slide share – To create information and make the blog more organised and easy to manage and for the consumer to read and understand.YouTube – To analyse videos, share my work and receive feedback as well as constructing videos.Adobe Premier – Creating the video and helping add transitions, editing the video and adding effects.
The practical production
To create the video 3 main components were used, these are:
1. The video camera – A camera to film the video, a Panasonic HD camera.
2. The image camera – To take images for the digipaks and magazine adverts.
3. The tri-pod – To keep the camera steady and to expand the height or width if needed.
