It’s a National Park in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in central Poland. It covers the highest ridge of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains – the Łysogory – with its two highest peaks: Łysica at 612 metres and Łysa Góra ("bald mountain") at 595 metres.
The Park is famous for its trees,
of which 674 are regarded as monuments of nature and as such are under protection. Most of Park’s area is forested, mainly with pines and beeches.

Basilica of the Holy Trinity and Holy Cross Relics
The Basilica of Holy Cross, which is considered to be the oldest Polish sanctuary, leads the way, where there are the Stations of the Cross.
The figure of the pilgrim, also known as Emeric, there are many legends. The most famous tells of a knight who came to Nowa Słupia. Here praised their pilgrimages and great piety. His last pilgrimage was to be a monastery on Łyścu, where he wanted to walk on his knees. When he was at the edge of the forest monastery bells rang out. Pilgrim said that the bells began to beat themselves in his honor, and this time turned to stone. In this way, punished for his pride and must repent today. What year is moving in the direction of the monastery on one tiny grain of sand, and when it comes to the top, all sins will be forgiven him, and the world will end.
