1) Do you have parents, grandparents, or great parents who were born or lived a

large portion of their lives overseas? Which countries? How has this heritage

affected your family’s culture (the way they live)?

2) Ask your parents what is an important value to them. How is this value

represented in your family life?

3) Is there a regular sport that the family follows? How do you think this culture was

started?

4) What places does your family like to visit? What does this say about the

culture of your family?

5) What are the best things about your family’s culture? Do you think you will

keep them when you have a family?
