Why Handheld? Why iPod touch?

Personal Computers are in decline. Mobile technology is taking over.(International Society for Technology in Education)

The teacher is no longer the font of all knowledge. Students should be makers rather than consumers. As educators we must become more than information experts; we must also be collaborators in learning; leveraging the power of students, seeking new knowledge alongside students.

If students are going to flourish in the future they are going to need to be innovative, creative and communicate within a new global community.

The iPod touch has become the ideal handheld device to support personalised learning.
