INAUGURATION OF AMIE COACHING CLASSESFrom Chairman’s desk

Dear Member,As promised earlier, we couldrestart evening Coaching classesfor AMIE students DiplomaSection A during the 1st week ofFebruary.

We have almost finalised ourcalendar for the year 2015-16.Almost 6 All India Seminars fromAgriculture, Civil, Mechanical,Computer, Chemical and Textileengineering disciplines areplanned besides 2 NationalConferences in Civil & Agricultureengineering.

We shall be upgrading ourpremises at Bhaikaka Bhavanshortly. That will make you morecomfortable to interact andparticipate at many of our events.

Your Chairman alongwith Councilmember Shri Navin Vasoya had avery fruitful interaction withCommittee members of SuratLocal Center at Surat. A separateinteraction was held withElectrical engineers of DGVCLand engineers of GWSSB at Surat.Membership drive is peaking upthere. We are planning to havesimilar interaction at HajiraIndustrial Complex and with VapiGIDC Engineers shortly.S J Desai

Evening coaching classes for students appearing in AMIE DiplomaSection A summer examination were inaugurated on 5th February2015 at Bahikaka Bhavan. Besides students & faculties, theprogram was well attended by the mentors, council members, GSCCommittee members. Chairman and Council member Shri NavinVasoya gave a brief outline of the Institution, the AMIE and thecourse structure.Mentor Shri Vivek Kapadia, AMIE & GSCCommittee member Shri Manish Doshi, AMIE addressed thestudents and guided them on their beginning of AMIE based ontheir own experience. Shri C.V.Nadpara Hon secretary proposedvote of thanks.
