GAFE: Google DriveTo access your Google Drive;
1. Log in to Chrome using your GAFE details
2. Go to - https://drive.google.com/
or
3. Click on (top left of browser) then choose Drive
or
4. (iPad = download Google Drive from App Store)
Task (part 1):
Follow the prompts to the left to open up your Google Drive
Make a new folder
Give it a name e.g. ‘test’
GAFE: Google DriveLet’s get sharing! (Task part 2)● Select the folder and click the icon to share
(or you can also right click)● Enter the GAFE email address of the person
next to you● Ensure they “can edit”● Add a quick note (if you like)● Click send● You will receive an email invitation to access the
folder and be granted folder rights within your Google Drive

3. Click on (top left of browser) then choose Docs

GAFE: Google DocsLet’s get sharing!● Go into your ‘test folder’ within your Drive● Choose the big red NEW button● Select Google Docs● Write a sentence that begins a story or list● Click the big blue SHARE button● Name and save your Doc e.g. ‘test story/list’● Invite the person next to you to be able to edit
the text collaboratively● Continue the story together on the same
document at the same time
