Problems with podcasting Uni-directional transmission of information

from producer to consumer Little opportunity for author & learner to

interact Author loses control over the podcasted

material Recipient can redistribute it without author’s

consent, for example put it on You Tube File can be altered & redistributed Students have a tendency to ‘file’ the file Difficult to ensure that the learner has the

most recent version
