There are two main locations used in the video. The first being New York city which is shot entirely in black and white which is reflective of the bands urban origins. The second shots of a live performance of the song in front of a massive crowd, this is to help to fully immerse the viewer in the music.

Maxi Jazz the vocalist and star of the video can be seen wearing a loose fitting suit, this is a signature of his style. His formal attire is a direct challenge to the stereotypical clothing of artists of the genre who usually wear casual and garish items.

The main premise of the video is Jazz’s journey through the city as the ‘messiah’ spreading his message. Also interestingly the lyrics are synced to sign language instead of being synced to his mouth, this has made me think about different ways to sync lyrics to a song.

The editing’s pace changes throughout the video to match up with the music, as this is happening there is continual cross cutting between different shots of Jazz signing. The lighting in the video plays a key part in connoting subtle ideas towards audience. When he is back lit it makes to viewer feel like they are seeing a higher being and also when he is stage lit it draws your eye towards him and his actions
