STEPS FOR WRITING AN OPINION ABOUT SOMETHING (a text or a topic)

1. Read the topic or the text.

2. Write down your ideas-in order- about it (use a draft)

3. Write your opinion. Follow the following tips in the box below.

Example

Topic: 'Eating fast food is bad'

Fast food refers to food that can be prepared and served very quickly and is a common solution if you are in a

hurry. But, in my opinion, fast food is always unhealthy because it contains artificial colours, a lot of fat and it

can cause obesity. In conclusion, from my point of view fast food is not a good idea for anybody but overall for

children.

Practice

Topic: 'A good teacher must be strict'
