He is focused on creating and distributing and engaging content to consumers throughout the world, with business ranging from news and information services, book publishing, and cable network programming and pay-TV distribution in Australia and New York, the activities of News Corp are conducted primarily in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. Mr. Thomson assumed his current role in January 2013.
