CHARACTERS

The hero is usually a solitary male who is out to seek justice for a town under oppression, he is usually very mysterious and doesn't reveal who he really is until later on. The villain however is very forward revealing himself to the audience very early on in the film and isn't afraid to be hidden. The victims of the film are the towns people mainly women and children who are constantly harassed by the villain.

CODES The costumes worn are often stereotypical cowboy cloths that are dirty with hats

and boots. Men in the film will be tanned with lots of facial hair where as the women will be

cleaner and more presentable. The setting will be dirty and there will be now bright colours such as greens or

yellows.The music will be mainly acoustic to give a authentic traditional view to it.The camera angles will be low as to represent the characters being powerful and

intimidating.The camera movements will be slow and the editing will be long or short shots

depending on how much action is happening in that scene.The lighting used will be all natural day light.
