The Writing Process

One of the most important concepts to understand about the Writing Process is that it is NOT linear; it is recursive.

This means that it is not a step by step process that authors follow in order to create a published piece of writing.

Rather, it is a process that loops back over and over until the author finds his/her writing to be complete.
