Many students are not rightfully aware that there are several institutions in this country, offering specialized postgraduate programmes in various disciplines along with attractive scholarship schemes to those who qualify through GATE.
Almost all Government Engineering colleges specify GATE as a mandatory qualification for admission to post graduate programmes.
A number of PSUs; HPCL, PGCIL, IOCL, BHEL etc. are recruiting through GATE GETs and MTs. Average annual CTC for GATE qualified GETs and MTs is 7-10 lakhs CTC.

• WHAT IS GATE??
GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING - GATE 2014• Each paper contains 65 questions carrying 100 marks.
• GATE 2014 question paper consisted of both MCQs and Numerical type questions ( Numerical type questions do not have any options, but the candidate will have to key in a number as answer).
• All 22 papers were conducted ONLINE as a Computer Based Test (CBT).
