What is Dual Enrollment? Dual Enrollment is the enrollment of a high
school student in one or more college courses.
Do the students receive high school credit? No
Do the students receive a college transcript? Yes
Who should I refer to Dual Enrollment courses? Students with 2.75 GPA’s or 19 on the
ACT/PLAN Test. Any student who expresses a maturity in their academic studies.

The Flexible School Day is an alternative to the traditional school day. The flexible option school day offers a non-traditional
school day of 12:30-7:00pm. The flexible school day aims to offer a schedule that is conducive for students.
Students must complete 4 hours of in school studies
Course work is completed online with the exception of career academy courses and Physical education.
Mandatory attendance from 12:30-2:05
An additional 2.5 hours of courses must be completed within the assigned time block of 2:30- 7:00

To refer a student for the GAINS flexible school day, complete a Referral Form and return it to Ms. Bell’s mailbox or the GAINS office.
