My principles as English teacher.

Teacher´s explanation.• In this part my role asteacher is to provide mystudents anexplanation, in which Iwas explaining howthey can use thevocabulary and theother components toachieve the goal.

Teacher provides some examples.

• I provide someexamples inorder to havebetterunderstandingabout the topic.

• The teacher understands and uses avariety of instructional strategies toencourage students’ development ofcritical thinking, problem solving,and performance skills.

Constructing knowledge

• Together theteacher and thestudents wereconstructingsome examplesabout the topic.

• The teacher plans instructionbased upon knowledge of subjectmatter, students, the community,and curriculum goals.

Participation.

• Students gavesome ideas andparticipatedactively, this wasmade in order tocheck studentscomprehension.

• The teacher uses an understandingof individual and group motivationand behavior to create a learningenvironment that encouragespositive social interaction, activeengagement in learning, and self-motivation.

Real life situations.

• The intentionusing real lifesituation was toengage students,also make thempart of theirlives.

• The teacher understands howstudents differ in theirapproaches to learning andcreates instructionalopportunities that are adapted todiverse learners.
