1. Rack Access Methodology IP Addressing details

All the remaining rack devices can be accessed using the following credentials

U.N. = admin & Password: = cciedc01 OR

U.N. = admin & Password: = Cciedc01

Kindly adhere towards using the above credentials for rack access else penalties will be imposed on the rack access candidate once password has been changed or a misuse has been observed. In the event of a device not being able to be accessed or performing a password recovery, the candidate is expected to notify the NH DC Rack rental team who would instantly work on resolving the aforementioned issue in the shortest span of time.

Candidates will be penalized in terms of rack slots or face financial/legal consequences should he/she engage in destructive activities like removal of images, altering the software image versions to cause a mismatch etc.

2. Rack Access Guidelines

Step-1 Kindly open a terminal emulator (PuTTY/SecureCRT) and use the following guide in order to access the devices.

Kindly type in the public domain of rack.networkershome.com and establish a Telnet session to the port 1111.

Kindly provide your rack access credentials over here which is the username and password that has been provided to you. If it does not work at the right beginning of your slot, kindly wait for two minutes and then retry.

Step-2: Kindly execute the “show hosts” command to see the reference name of all the devices in the rack. You will only be able to access the devices described in the logical topology and kindly refrain from testing with any other.

Please observe the attached screenshot for the same.

Step-3 Test connectivity to all the devices in the rack by accessing their console respectively as follows:-

Kindly press the escape/break sequence of Ctrl+Shift+6+X in order to shift from one device to the other.

If you are not able to open the device, then do this task.

Also, in addition, the method of accessing the Test-PC is as follows, kindly open Remote Desktop Connection by typing the same in your Start menu or go to RunmstscOK
