My Tools

The teacher planned her lessons prior she taught the lesson. She prepared lesson plan including its objectives, materials to be used, activities to employ, and the process of assessing learning. She saw to it that teaching and learning be effective as much as possible before implementing it.

PLAN

The teacher has taught her students effectively following what she had prepared prior to teaching which was her lesson plan. She was able to deliver her topic smoothly and accordingly. Verily, the teaching was well implemented though some students haven't understood the lesson thoroughly.

IMPLEMENT

The teacher gave a quiz as a form of evaluation for the lesson. She gathered information whether her students have fully understood or not. She did it to evaluate also her teaching if it was good and effective enough.

Behavioral Learning Theories

The students were able to discover new skill in a form of imagining the laboratory apparatus. Also, they were able to appreciate the importance and uses of the apparatus especially in computing the mass, volume, density, of a certain object or liquid.

Behavioral Learning Theories

-emphasize observable behavior such as new skills, knowledge or

attitudes which can be demonstrated.

The students bridged their previous knowledge that are essential in the more difficult lesson. I believe, while they listened to the discussion of the teacher, they have understood for the time their teacher asked them they have answered it correctly.

Cognitive Learning Theories

- unobservable mental processes are used to learn and remember new information or

acquire skills.

The students have discovered methods how to solve the equations their own. They also have acquired things beyond the topic discussed.

Discovery Learning

-individual learns from his discovery of the

environment.

The students were really active since they themselves solved what was being asked. They were active learners for they were told to solve in the board individually.

Reception Learning

-learners are actively involved in their own

learning.

My Analysis

Teaching and learning give life and meaning to the curriculum since both of them

spell out and concretize what have been written in the curriculum. They give realization

to the subjects and the overall learning and teaching outcomes intended by the

curriculum. Curriculum would be useless or of no use without teaching- learning process.

The deluge of information possess a great challenge to both teaching and learning

since over flooding of information confuses the teacher how to teach and over loading the

students to learn, may result to mental incapability. If too much information will be

stored, an error within the mind will occur. Concepts will not be fully discussed and

learned.

My Reflections/My Insights

I like teaching because it’s very fulfilling when you know someone is learning out

from you. The reason why I pursue this course merely because I love to live in order to

teach from the time I became a 2nd year student- I realized how important and essential a

teacher to students lives. I am also motivated to continue this course because they say that

teaching is the noblest profession. There will be no nurses, doctors, lawyers, accountants,

engineers and the like without teachers. Specifically, I took this course and major in order

to learn more and discover more about English language. Teachers play a vital role in the

learning process. Thus, teaching prepares students for future needs. Teaching is fun itself.
