DESCRIPTION
We map a transformation of the curriculum offered by the Division of Information studies and Librarianship at Masaryk University during history. Every discipline has three dimensions which interact with one another. We can understand it as a scientific discipline, as a study discipline, and as a practical discipline. We analyse information science as an academic discipline with special attention to the study dimension and its transformation during history. Interaction of the study dimension with the scientific dimension and the practical dimension are reflected. Venn diagrams are used as mapping and visualising tools.
