In this session we will also focus on preparing students for future trends in jobs and networking techniques. The topics for this session will include: What is your Student Population; Differences in Industries; Differences in Culture (age, race, religion, orientation); Diversity of Communication Styles (old school-vs.-new school); Diversity of Technology (Facebook, twitter, email, phone, and snail mail); How to Effectively Teach "Transitioning"; The "Professional" Classroom; Networking Techniques; Positive Student Outcomes; The Next Generation of Workers. Referencing the book Your Career 8th Edition by Lauri Harwood, the goal of this session will be to train faculty on how to successfully transition current students into professionals. By using cognitive theories and real-world approach, faculty can prepare students for successful careers. Upon completion of this session, participants can work diligently to prepare students to compete in the global market place.

students must be taught when to use different forms of communication as a professional. Various forms are:
