“Local executive organization annually in a timely manner provides a collection of statistical observation data in a unified information system of education of the authorized body in the field of education”
Law of Kazakhstan “On Education” (as amended on 09.04.2016)
In 2013 by decree of the Head of State was cancelled collection of MES departmental statistics on paper. Was launched informational system National Educational Database (NED)
Introduction of the system saved 560 man-days
NED implementation has brought a number of advantages:
Possibility to create unregulated reports rapidly
Excluded a direct contact between respondents and recipients
Identification of false statistics
The information is generated by 2,333 indicators per 127
forms of administrative
reports
NED contains huge information for making quick management decisions
18,787 educational organizations registered regardless of ownership and departmental affiliation
Information about 4,264,544 students and 823,041 educators and technical staff is contained
Information about the the material and technical base and the educational process
The personal data of all foster children, pupils and students, teachers is reserved
All interested parties have access to data stored in information system NED
