phone, laptop, tablet. etc. • Bring a charger! We will have plenty of outlets to help your device

Josh MurdockJosh Murdock is known as Professor Josh to many on social media and in the classroom. He currently works at Valencia College as an instructional designer helping build online courses, train faculty on technology, and solve the Blackboard problems of the world. He’s an Associate Faculty teaching Educational Technology in the EPI program, Social Networking for Job Search and Student Success. !Josh has taught online, hybrid, or face-to-face for the past nine years and worked in higher education for over fifteen years. He also has a Master of Arts in both Educational Leadership for Higher Education and Instructional Technology from University of Central Florida, and a graduate certificate in e-learning. Bess AuerBess Auer is a certified teacher who is also an award-winning blogger. A 17-year veteran in the classroom, she went on to start the Florida Blogger and Social Media Conference, which is a one-day gathering of the state’s largest bloggers and social media pros. A frequent guest speaker and blogger on social media issues, parenting and education, Bess was asked to create the high tech curriculum for Park Maitland School’s first “Smart Tech” class, which focused on teaching students to blog and use social media to expand learning beyond the classroom walls. !Now a full-time blogger, she works with some of the largest brands in the nation as a social media consultant. Kerry O’Shea GorgoneKerry O’Shea Gorgone is a speaker, writer, attorney and educator. She holds an MBA from Bentley University, and graduated summa cum laude from Suffolk University Law School. Kerry has taught courses in marketing law, intellectual property, and business. She also taught New Media Marketing for the Internet Marketing Master of Science Program at Full Sail University. Currently she is the Instructional Design Manager, Enterprise Training, at MarketingProfs. !Kerry hosts the weekly Marketing Smarts podcast for MarketingProfs. She is also a contributing writer for numerous sites, including MarketingProfs, Huffington Post, the {grow} blog, SocialMedia Explorer, Business2Community, and Marketing Pilgrim. !Kerry is on Social Media Marketing Magazine’s list of the Top 100 Marketing Professors on Twitter and the MBAPrograms.org list of the Top 50 Business School Professors on Twitter. William JacksonWilliam Jackson graduated from South Carolina State University (HBCU) earning a Bachelor’s in Education. He furthered his education earning a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Webster University with a focus on Educational Technology. !William’s educational career involves past teaching with NASA as an Internet and technology instructor, technology consultant with the Florida Department of Education and Professor with Edward Waters College and Florida State College of Jacksonville. He has been involved in the field of education for over 20 years in elementary and higher education. !An Engineering and Technology teacher at a STEAM and Title One: Magnet School. William is not only an educator, he is a Social Media Consultant, presenter on Bullying and Cyberbullying, STEAM speaker, Internet Safety instructor and his passion Blogging. Christine OrtizAn MIT grad with two masters’ degrees, Christine Ortiz spent her high school years working on the national, teen anti-smoking Truth Campaign and advising corporate executives on engaging youths for social change. At the age of 18 she founded her first company, Allen Ortiz Consulting, through which she developed youth empowerment curriculums, designed marketing and branding strategies for social change initiatives, launched state and country-wide change campaigns, and spoke in front of hundreds of thousands of youth and adults. !Christine opened a tutoring and test prep center, a stepping-stone to her most recent venture, Knowledge Commons, an Innovation lab that is rapidly prototyping solutions to education related issues. The Commons include The Ampersand School, a K-12 independent school, with mixed- age classrooms, an integrated and thematic curriculum design, and a constant focus on individuality and Blank Schools, a radically different approach to new school model development. Lali DeRosier!Lali DeRosier studied Oceanic and Atmospheric Science at a MAST Academy in Miami where phenomenal high school teachers cultivated her love of school and learning. Lali went on to earn a BA in Biological Sciences at Smith College and an MA in Science Education at the University of Central Florida. !Lali currently holds the Carol Denicole Endowed Chair of Science at Trinity Preparatory School in Winter Park, FL, where she teaches biological sciences and is developing a science writing curriculum for middle and high school. She’s successfully partnered with leading children’s educational bloggers and brands to create powerful Pinterest boards for early childhood education. In the past two years she has discovered how to reach out to parents to encourage them to become their child’s first teacher by blogging and pinning resources and tips onto her Pinterest Boards. Brittny Krause is a digital media and communications coordinator with Florida Dairy Farmers, the state’s milk promotion group, which represents more than 130 dairy farm families who produce 272 million gallons of fresh Florida milk every year! Brittny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Florida and has worked as a reporter for ABC News, ESPN and Fox Sports Florida. Currently, Brittny manages the FDF social media channels and website, floridamilk.com, which provides educational resources to students, teachers and bloggers in Florida. Jimi Kunkel is the Social Media Strategist for Full Sail University where his duties include community management, creative campaign conception and implementation, digital media outreach, industry partnerships, paid media strategy and copywriting. Jimi’s work has contributed to over 800% community growth, as well as the development of three new channels and a dramatic increase in overall engagement. !Before joining Full Sail University, Jimi developed a diverse skill-set working in public relations, advertising, journalism and sales.
