World over, only about 5% of the business schools pass the

muster in acquiring AACSB accreditation and

TAPMI is one of those to sail through. TAPMI is amongst the

only two institutes in INDIA to have the AACSB accreditation.

FROM THE DIRECTOR'S DESK

The AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of

excellence in mission driven value-based

education. The primary focus is to strive and

harness excellence in research, teaching and

specified learning goals.

TAPMI joins an elite membership of fewer than 5%

o f t he bus iness schoo l s wo r ldw ide .

Internationally, specific research works found that

AACSB-accredited schools provide high

academic standards, a dedicated faculty and

exceptional students.

The mission-critical culture and the thorough

process orientation enable students to internalise

these aspects at an abstract level so much so that

they are job-ready, mission-oriented and are

highly adaptive to any organizational climate.

There is a constant commitment to cultivate

meaningful interactions between students and a

qualified faculty to bring unique insights into

business.

The Institute is committed to Outcome-Based

Learning (OBL) with a clear vision on the learning-

goals of the programme. The courses are

designed to continually bench-mark against the

requirements of the industry and the knowledge of

the changing industrial scenario.

This would enable the students to be competent

professionals and to attain specific intended

learning outcomes. TAPMI brings together a wide

range of management disciplines. It provides a

dynamic environment where theory is put into

practice & educates them to manage work, society

and life.

The best testament of TAPMI's efforts and

excellence is the increasing number of campus

recruits every year. TAPMI prides in making job-

ready managers in its graduates and builds a

strong emphasis on enterprise and innovation. Our

students are assertive, and they derive pride from

their achievements for the institutions that they

serve.

TAPMI has been providing high-quality, innovative

business education over the years and integrates a

traditional approach with broader environmental,

societal and ethical context relevant to today's

businesses. Teaching methods have been

designed to identify the unique abilities of the

students. They are taught to strengthen the critical

thinking, teamwork, creative and leadership skills

and be able to communicate ideas in a

collaborative environment.

TAPMIans are well prepared and gain real world

insights in making the most. Research shows that

89% of b-schools report that having AACSB

Accreditation helps them to produce higher

caliber, better educated graduates who are more

desirable to prospective employers, who can make

appropriate choice between conflicting ends and

who are tolerant to ambiguity and diversity. They

develop confidence and contribute great insights

from their experiences with the drive to succeed in

all types of organizations. For them, there are no

right or wrong decisions; there are only acceptable

or unacceptable consequences. This is the

essence of a TAPMIan.

Our pioneering vision is to encourage students

from diverse backgrounds to become highly

productive business professionals. I am confident

that your visit will benefit you and your organization.

I look forward to seeing you at the TAPMI campus.

Dear Patron,thI have immense pleasure in presenting before you, the 30 batch of PGDM students numbering 302

and a relatively smaller 3rd batch of 24 PGDM-Healthcare students. These students have been

handpicked by us after putting them through a rigorous selection process to ensure high input quality

and hence they happen to be some of the brightest minds in our country. Over two years they would be

exposed not only to a highly competitive academic environment, but also to a host of events meant to

hone their managerial skills.

With students from such diverse educational backgrounds, ranging from Biotechnology to Law and

Pharmacy to aeronautics, it is my belief that no matter what the type of organization yours is, you would

be able to find at least one suitable candidate to handle any assignment.

The support you had extended for summer placements 2012 was overwhelming, with 64 top notch

Companies selecting 248 students and we are optimistic of a higher turnout of Companies for the

2013 exercise.

While I have a deep sense of gratitude for your patronage shown in the past, I solicit support of all you

recruiters for summer internships 2013 for which the selection and screening of students by

Companies would commence in September 2012 for the two months internship which would be

during April-May 2013.

Thank you in anticipation.

Warm regards,

S. Sudeep Kumar

Associate Professor & Chairman (MIP)
