• Take GOiPAVE area, divide SF by 9 for SY• Take SY, i.e 58,500,00.00 SY in FRS HOA

Properties x $60.00 per SY = $3,510,000,000.00• X 3% for annual maintenance amount =

$105,300,000.00

Tip Two

• Use a loaded 20 ton tandem dump truck to proof roll all areas that you think need to be deep patched

• Lift mud flap up and hold with bungee cord so you can watch the tire deflection

• Denote all areas that deflect more than 1 inch or more

• Use 4 foot milling machine to deep patch• If doing HIR, use 9.5 mm SP for deep patches

Tip Three

• When looking at preservation treatments, look at life cycle costing

• i.e. a Sealcoat may last 2 years at $1.00 per SY for a total of $1,595,000.00 over a ten year period

• i.e. HA5® may last 7 years at a cost of $3. 00 per SY for a total of $1,367,143.00

• You must consider the performance of the treatment, and cost of user delay as well
