2. Date: 01/12/14 Title: Initial meeting and discussion with my
production group Genre of sequence: A hybrid cross genre of Horror
and Mystery. Final Concept: A young mysterious girl who always
hangs around the local playground. Many children have mysteriously
gone missing in the playground which always has police and
detectives in. On 6th June 2006 a young naive girl was kidnapped
and her disappearance was never traced; there have been rumours
going around about the young girl, always in the playground. Some
say she is a ghost others think she's "the missing". The mystery,
nobody knows. Two young girls are about to discover a mystery they
will never forget.... IDEAIDEA
3. We will follow Todorov's theory of equilibrium where at the
start there is a normal plot line but then disruption causes a
disequilibrium which turns into a recognition, getting resolved
meaning repair and resolution of the situation happens before the
final new equilibrium is formed. We will also look to Levi Strauss'
theory of Binary Oppositions for some divine inspiration on how to
conflict/ contrast: rich and poor, good and bad and old and young
characters to drive the storyline, meaning conflict makes the title
sequence more interesting and captivating for the target audience.
We have taken inspiration from the film Orphan and the TV show CBS
Reality. We will link Todorov's theory into our sequence for it
follows an equilibrium for: the two girls live an ordinary simple
life, totally unaware of the mysterious girl which could be the
representation of the equilibrium. It is when the neighbourhood
detect that something strange is happening which connotes the
disequilibrium. The young girls who strive to work out the intrigue
denotes the restored equilibrium until the final quest which may
not follow Todorov for the two children could be deemed to end up
in a tricky involved aspects, meaning order and the equilibrium may
not be restored. We will have Levi Strauss' theory highlighted in
our sequence with good innocent characters like: the two girls and
the curious neighbourhood in contrast with the bad villainous
character of Lola, the mysterious girl, OR should I say Ghost.

4. The innocent girl is trapped in the evil dream which her
three friends warn her about. The sequence would be seen from the
evil protagonist's perspective, to invert the normal conformity of
film title sequences for a horror sci- fi theme. The title sequence
depicts physiological entanglements for the evil creature twists
the innocent girls mind to make her fall in love with him.
Characters: 3 main characters: Lola the mysterious missing girl and
her 2 friends. Based on illusions and the USP is foreshadowing
illusions and the 3 main characters are involved in the main
elements of the story at the start. Audiences like horror and
psychological mystery films for they like innocent victims being
haunted and jump scars together with the interdiction being
violated. Narratemes that will be present in our title sequence: 2,
3 and 8. OTHER PLOT IDEASOTHER PLOT IDEAS
