> Business Case Make sure to have a business case for why your project will get the most
done for the amount requested. That’s how most panels compare requests.
> Collaboration Build strong relationships with local businesses, industry partners, colleges,
and professional organizations and incorporate them into your grant requests. They legitimize your asks & can lighten the load for you.
> Discretion Ask for what you need, and keep your request below the max award amount
if feasible.
