The purpose of this analysis is to find out who I’m targeting as my potential customers. By conducting this analysis I was able to find out what they like/want in a Sport Good shop. I also found out what ages I’ mainly targeting and how much money they make annually.

The highest result for this question turned out to be basketball which was 33% of the people who completed my survey

The lowest result for this question was track and 7% of the people who completed my survey chose this answer

The advantage of more people selecting basketball allows me to know that in my shop I should have a larger variety of basketball gear and more money will come from my basketball lovers.

The disadvantage of people choosing track means when track season is in I shouldn’t waste my time on trying to make an order of track gear and only 7% of people would buy it which also means around track season I wouldn’t get as much money as I would if it was basketball season

This benefits my business because now I know how I can divide my store up by the different sports and it makes it easier for people to come find what they need right away.

With this information I know how to make my store attractive to majority of people who enjoy basketball

The advantage of me knowing this is When my customer come in majority of them will already know what they are looking for and how to find it

The disadvantage would be I would have to hire employees with patience for that 10% of people who don’t play a sport but wants athletic gear

This information benefits my business because majority of my customers already played a sport so I know how to grab their attention

I can meet my customers needs by having little contest at a certain time so they can show off their skills and get a free gift.

The highest result for this question was majority of the people selected other.

The lowest result for this question was Baseball

There is really no advantage to me knowing 33% people chose the choice other, because now that leaves me in a awkward position because I don’t know what sport is other.

And again there isn’t really a disadvantage because as a business owner I got to know what sports are popular and which ones aren’t, and in this case baseball just isn’t a popular sport.

This information from this graph doesn’t benefit my business at all I would have to conduct another survey to find out what sport do 33% of people like.

Well from this information when customers come to my store I could have little surveys while they shop around to see what other sports they prefer.

The lowest result was yes 44% of the people who took this survey get an allowance

The advantage ok me knowing this is I know a lot of my customer will have their parents with them while they shop.

The disadvantage of this information is when parents give their children money they don’t want them to spend over a certain amount of money so I kind of lose sales in that sense.

This information benefits my business because now I know how I have to make my store be approved for parents so they will let their child spend money there.

I can meet my customers needs by making my shop appealing to them and have sales a lot so their parents can give them money to shop.

My lowest result was only 4% people never go to the mall.

The advantage of this information is a lot of people got to mall throughout a month so in my mind I know I’ll have some type of sell everyday.

I really don’t see how only 4% of people never going to mall would affect me.

This information benefits me because since a lot of people go to the mall throughout a month I have to have catchy poster or advertisement to bring them to my shop

I can meet the customers needs by giving them early bird specials and types of store rewards for coming into my shop.

The highest result for this question was majority of the people who completed this survey prefer Nike over other brands.

The lowest result for this question was Reebok

The advantage of more people choosing to like Nike allows me as a business owner to know I need to have a wide variety of Nike gear.

The disadvantage of people selecting Reebok is If I choose to have a selection of Reebok I wouldn’t make as much money as I would if it were Nike.

This information benefits my business because I know what I am going to make a big profit of.

I can meet my customer needs by making good deals or even lower prices so they can afford things in my shop.

The lowest result was 11% of the people wouldn’t spend any amount listed on the chart.

The advantage of more people spending a lot of money is I make profit.

The disadvantage of some people not wanting to spend any money is I can’t give away things free because I would be setting myself up for failure and lose my business

Benefits:

I can meet my customers needs by making sure I have top notch gear so I can keep my customers and happy and at the same time keep them from feeling like they just wasted a lot of money.

After all my surveys, I found out who my target customers are. I found out what their likes/ dislikes are. With this

information its up to me to handle these needs and wants from my customers.

My target customers are males mainly between the age of 15-16 years of age. Who don’t get an allowance nor have an

annual income. Who favorite sport is basketball and majority of them played a sport before. More of them would like to play another sport, but due to graph I’m unsure what

that other sport is. They go to the mall monthly and majority of them prefer wearing Nike over anything. And

finally majority of them said they are willing to spend over $100 at my shop.
