AFTER FEEDBACK

After some feedback my teacher gave me some constructive criticism to further improve my final products. Firstly, I made the main photo larger making it more identical to my inspiration magazine. I then made the cover lines on the right hand third much smaller, again making it more identical to the inspired magazine. Finally, I added a white box around the barcode in the bottom right just like the inspired magazine.

My contents page didn't need many alterations and was at a good level. The only thing that I added to it was some page numbers on two images which I was missing to make it more identical to the inspired magazine contents page.

In my double page spread, the background was the biggest problem I felt because I thought it didn't look very professional as plain grey and looked quite boring, especially for a punk magazine. I got a texture off the internet and spread it across the background, decreasing the opacity to get that look. I then changed the text to all white as it looked more professional than being yellow. Finally, I changed the border from being spotlights to a plain yellow trim because the spotlights again didn't suit the pop punk theme, or the band issued.
