Why a family cookbook?

• Didn’t want to one day become a mother one day who couldn’t provide wholesome meals to my children

• I grew up eating family dinners every night

• Creating and learning something useful

Process

• 1. Beginning of process, I coordinated with my grandmother, mom, and my three aunts

• Called my grandmother and went over to her house

• Invited my aunts over to discuss cookbook

• Talked with my mom

• Grandmother came over once a month to help me learn to cook these recipes
