My Designs

• The Goal: To introduce my students to the world of Salvador Dali and plant a seed of curiosity.

• The Audience: I have planned to use this with my second grade class, but this design could be used for anyone interested in learning more about this artist and surrealism.

• The Message: Salvador Dali was an icon for the art style of Surrealism.

• This was my first design.• I chose a large image for impact.• I chose a more script/handwriting for to match

the style.

• Here is my second design.• I decided to change the image to help depict a

more interesting and exciting style.• I added a bit of color to the text to create

contrast.• I also got rid of the block of gray on the side

and used the image on the full design.• I changed the language in the text a bit, also.

• In my third design, I made some dramatic changes.

• Again, I changed the image. I liked that this one peeks in from the side. It added a sort of strange, yet intriguing feeling to the design.

• I also added some pops of color with the red rose and title, as well as the light blue accents.

• Here is my final design.• I changed the image to show an example of

Dali’s artwork.• I used a complimentary color scheme- blue

and orange.• I moved the body of text to the top and

aligned in right.• I got rid of the subtitle because it was

unnecessary.
