I tried to give the title of the Film on my poster a distinctive look to separate it from other posters to give my film some kind of identity. The font and colour I used fits in with the style of the film as well I feel. The film posters I analysed in my research seemed to have distinctive font styles as well, so I followed conventions by doing this this way.

The picture and editing I used for the body of the poster reveals what the film might be about, which is used in other teaser posters. I didn’t include characters or main plot reveals in it because it is a teaser poster so I want intrigue rather than giveaways.

I wrote ‘Coming Soon’ at the bottom in an attempt to excite the audience and build anticipation for the film, an idea I tried to use across my project. This is another heavily used convention in film posters.The website at the bottom of the page would encourage people to research more about the film online, which is a particularly vital form of advertising and gaining the attention of the crowd in the ‘Online Age’.
