Film Genre (type of film and your reasons for choosing this genre?)

The genre that I have chosen is going to be action and I have chosen this because I like fast pace films and films that have special effects also in action movies the cinematography is really good.

Synopsis of Idea (visual content – style, use of colour, settings, props, costumes, lighting etc)

The visual content that that the audience will be seeing will be a dark setting with an ambient feel to the environment and there will be no bright aluminous colours. The style in my film will be fast pace tin terms of all of the action and for style of clothing it will be formal and sleek where the character (Secret Agent) will be wearing a Black Wool Peacoat or similar kind of coat and another character (Villain) will be wearing a hoodie with track suit bottoms. The place where I will be filming will be at the Salford Quays in Salford where there will be big buildings, a river canal with a great open space area and in an alley way where it is dark and will suit and guy that wears a hoodie

Target Audience? (demographic NOT age range)

My target audience will be based on the demographic grouping where it groups people in certain ways such as "Elders, Teachers, Children, Students, Retail Workers, Lawyers, Doctors, CEO's, Religion, ETC..." Because of this, I will not have a better understanding on who will watch my film or who I want to show my film to and then I can make it suitable for them. In my case I will target mainly tanagers/students and above to watch my film.

How will your project meet the needs of your target audience?

The target audience which i am looking for are Teenagers/Students and above because my film is mainly action and i think that the use of guns and violence with some strong language will not be suitable for people under the age of 12, I am targeting this audience because i think that because they are quiet active anyway they could relate to it and actually get in to

the film and not be bored. I also think that the build up to tension in action films can get the audience really in to the film.

What will you film opening title credits look like? (How will they appear on screen? Where will they be positioned? How will they animate? What style of font/typography?)

http://www.dafont.com/alien-encounters.font For my title sequence i have chosen to go forwards with this font because i think it gives the content the suitable match that will give the film that extra kick. The credits will appear on the screen with a smooth but solid look where it will fade/bang on to the side of the screen where there isn't to much happening. I think this will give my film the action feel to it.
