Getting Started from Excel

• Decide if a template will meet the basic needs or if you need to start from scratch. http://www.filemaker.com/solutions/starter_solutions_descript.html

• Select “Start from a Starter Solution” • Then import your excel file using the

import wizardOR• With some simple excel files you can

drop the excel file onto the FileMaker icon & it will use the file to start a basic database.
