What is Education and Importance of Education

Education serves as a foundation upon which

the infrastructure of civilization is built.

IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION

Education is considered the backbone of any society. It is the cheapest defense of a nation. The progress of any society largely depends on the effectiveness of its educational system and the best educational system is that which gives equal opportunities of getting education to all its members.

Female Education Female literacy plays a very

significant and crucial role in the development of nation especially in the economic development of a country.

Thousands of girls’ otherwise intelligent and capable enough to get education, but are deprived of because of multifarious socio-cultural and economic reasons and gender prejudices. Due to this reason they are unable to play active role in the development of society.

NECESSARY:• If the women in any country are not educated

about half the people in that country will be ignorant. The result is that such a country will not be able to go along with other nations in development and progress.

Benefits of Female Education

Better health : Basic education provides girls and women with an understanding of basic health, nutrition and family planning . Poverty reduction: Educating girls and women is an important step in overcoming poverty.

Women have the right to seek Education in Islam

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ashari: "The Prophet said, 'He who has a slave-girl and teaches her good manners and improves her education and then manumits and marries her, will get a double reward; and any slave who observes Allah's right and his master's right will get a double reward.' 

Acording to a saying of Prophet Muhammad(SAW)"It is obligatory for every Muslim,male or female to acquire knowledge"(Al-Bayhaqi).Imagine, 1400 years ago,when the women were ill treated and were only used as property,Islam asked the women to be educated.Because Islam tells that every women should be educated-

In order to improve female education, as a first and basic step, it is essential to change or improve the attitude of the people toward social and educational status of female by emphasizing Islamic teachings. In this connection public and private sector as well as media should also play their positive role for the improvement of the situation. Unless as a nation we improve our system of education in general and

Suggestions to improve the female education system

The female education should include the following: 1. The type of food that should be taken in different conditions

of body 2. The property of different plants and different food items 3. Cottage industry so that females can do some income sitting

at home 4. Managing family properly within small expense 5. Developing the habit of saving and conservation. No item

should be destroyed as who know what item would be useful in what circumstance

6. Pleasure behaviour. Should be able to maintain a peaceful atmosphere at home in spite of angry attitude of male members

7. Special attention for maintaining unity within family members
