Main Lesson AimsAt the end of the lesson students should be able to:
- Discover how to use some tools to merge between two images and add effects to it
Assumptions about prior learning
- Some students have worked with Adobe Photoshop before which have similar interface and features as Pixlr
Anticipated problems and possible solutions
- Something may happen to the electricity so the students will not be able to use Edmodo. As a solution I will have hard copies of the lesson worksheet.
- The students may complete working on the task when the time is up so I will ask the students to switch off the screens after each task to let them focus
Personal focus for this lesson
- When the students will start working I will move around to check if they have any question- When a student will answer a question I will greet her ( Excellent – very good ,good etc, )

- I will start the lesson by telling the students about the "Heads up" game instructions
- I will choose a student and ask her to stand in front of the class
- I will tell her to hold a card on her head and ask the other students to let her guess what is the word
- I will show them an example of what they should do
- I will ask the students about what they did in previous class
- I will discuss the lesson aim with the students
- Some students will stand in front of the class holding card on their heads
- The other students will give hints to let the student guess the word

Getting ready/envelops10mins

- I will present the website interface to the students- I will ask the students to log in to Edmodo and
download the worksheet- I will show the students a sample of the work that
they have to do- I will ask the student to download a background
and an image to draw a plan for the design- I will set the timer- I will tell the students once they finish they need to
switch off their screens- I will tell them that the first three students who will
finish should go and pick one of the hanging envelops
- Students will log in to Edmodo and download the worksheet
- Students will download one background and one image and plan for the design
- Students will switch off the screens- First three student will pick an envelop
Working on task/Finding the differences20mins

- I will show the student two images and they need to find the difference between the images
- I will discuss the tools which are the differences- I will show the students how to merge the images
- Students will need to find the differences between two images
- Students will need to discuss the tools- Students will start working on their designs

- I will tell them to repeat the instruction- I will tell them to go back to the worksheet if they
have any question- I will tell them to upload their images when they
are done with their designs- I will set the timer and ask them to work- I will tell them once they finish they need to switch

- Two students will be rewarded
