entrepreneurs. The future opportunities for business
graduates are limitless!
What will a degree in Business give me?
The Bachelor of Business will enable you to have a
broad understanding of the business environment
as well as well as the necessary technical skills to
allow you to be successful in your chosen career
those skills include both the technical and
employability skills. You will be able to:

any situation

sound decision making such as personal finance
and organizational skills
• Apply problem solving skills not only in a Business
context, but also to real life situations.
How will I be different from the others?
Although it is being said that the market is saturated
with Business graduates this is not completely true.
Our graduates have always had one of the top
employment rates compared to graduates from
other programmes in the Polytechnic.
For example the majority of our first batch of
Business graduates have obtained employment
within 6 months of completing their studies.
To learn about what makes our graduates different,
look at the next slide.
How is it delivered?
Producing work ready graduates resides at the
centre of our mission in Bahrain Polytechnic.
To obtain that; we use the following three methods:
problem based learning ( PBL) , work integrated learning
(WIL) and employability skills (ES). The programme is
delivered through a mixture of interactive classroom
lectures that involves case scenario analysis, problem-
solving tasks, research projects, computer lab workshops,
online forums and discussions, self-directed learning,
small business set-up experiences and group tasks.
It is the type of Business graduates that the market
need and lacked.
To join the Business programme you need to be
competent at English and Maths. You can show this by
either:
• Passing the English and Maths selection tests at the
required entry level; or
• Passing English and Maths in the foundation
programme [CAP].
